Watch the Genndy Tartakovsky-Animated Prequel for Scott Stewart’s ‘Priest’
[1]If you found the first few glimpses of Scott Stewart's Priest to be confusing -- and I wouldn't blame you, that last trailer [2] was pretty "huh?"-worthy -- here's something that might help. Animator Genndy Tartakovsky (Samurai Jack, Dexter's Laboratory) has created a three-minute animated prequel to the film that explains some of the setup and gives a taste of what kind of tone we can expect from the movie. Watch it after the jump.[via FirstShowing [3]]The backstory for Priest still seems rather complicated, but the prequel goes a long way toward making it more coherent. And the animation looks good -- perhaps too good. I think I'd rather watch this movie than the actual live-action feature directed by Stewart.Priest is based on a comic series by Hyung Min-woo, and stars Paul Bettany, Karl Urban, Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q, and Lily Collins. The film marks a reunion for Stewart»

Full Video: Tom Hardy Talks 'The Dark Knight Rises' and 'Inception' Sequels
Recent BAFTA Audience Award winner, Tom Hardy recently sat down with Alan Carr on "Chatty Man" and talked a bit about his role as Bane (pictured right), the villain in the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises for director Christopher Nolan (Inception).
He reveals his character will be nothing like the version you saw in Joel Schumacher's Batman and Robin and that he's got under three months to get up to about 189-196 pounds, saying he weighs approximately 170 now.
Hardy also discussed, among other things, being signed for sequels to Inception should they decide to make them. This is no surprise and I personally don't expect a sequel, but crazier things have happened.
The Dark Knight Rises is slated to hit theaters on July 20, 2012 with Christian Bale returning along with Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman. Tom Hardy will play the film's lead villain Bane and Anne Hathaway will play Selina Kyle.»
