Director F. Javier Gutiйrrez Rumored To Be In Talks For ‘The Crow’ Reboot
Briefly: As remakes flourish in every corner of the film business, one can't quite take to the air. The new version of The Crow has been in the works for some time now, once with Stephen Norrington in the director's chair and Nick Cave rewriting [1] the director's script. Mark Wahlberg was attached for a moment [2], but all of these people walked away [3] before the end of 2010, reportedly because a new actor came on board and wanted a new writer to make big changes to the script.Since then we've heard vague rumors about different possible directors. The last was that Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) would direct, but now another report says the job might go to F. Javier Gutiйrrez. Fangoria [4] says the Before the Fall director might have the gig, but frankly I wouldn't put too much weight behind either of these rumors without further word. No confirmation from Relativity yet,»

Bounty Films Acquires UK Rights For Human Centipede: Full Sequence
It was one of the most disturbing films of 2010. And definitely wasn’t a flash mob get together! Certainly not for the faint-hearted and even some hardcore horror fans marvelled at the lunacy of its premise and imagery. Tom Six’s The Human Centipede was a truly twisted piece of cinema. So naturally he’s made another one!
Human Centipede: Full Sequence promises to be more outrageous than the original. Six premiered a slideshow of images from the sequel at last year’s FrightFest and I was very impressed with the blood and guts on display – all complete with Six smiling like an evil genius.
Steve Hills at Eureka! announced on his Twitter feed Bounty Films have acquired film distribution rights in the UK and Ireland with a tentative summer release followed by the Blu-ray and DVD before Christmas. Yes, because nothing says ‘summer movie’ and ‘Merry Christmas’ like the Human Centipede films!»
