Trailer for 'Spy Kids 4' Introduces Pint-Sized Crimefighters Old and New
The "Spy Kids" franchise has always been a confusing one: what terrible parent would allow their tween children to be enlisted into a government spy agency and forced to combat amoral villains? That's horrible!
No matter -- director Robert Rodriguez has once again ventured into the world of butt-kicking youngsters in the name of wonderment and imagination with "Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World." The new installment abandons the original family in favor of a hot, new stepmom, Jessica Alba, and two kids, who discover that she's a secret agent.
The "Spy Kid" series has a great track record for squeezing in name talent, with the likes of George Clooney, Salma Hayek, Mike Judge, Richard Linklater, Bill Paxton and more popping up. "Spy Kids 4" continues the trend, with veterans Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara returning and comedian Ricky Gervais voicing a talking dog (obviously).
