Alec Baldwin joins 'Rock of Ages'
Alec Baldwin will join Tom Cruise, Mary J. Blige, and Julianne Hough in director Adam Shankman’s Rock of Ages film. The director himself took to Twitter over the weekend to trumpet the news, saying, “So, based on info I got today, I’m gonna confirm Alec Baldwin as Dennis in Rock Of Ages. Hollah.”
Baldwin had long been rumored for the part of Dennis Dupree, the aging rocker who stays in the game by running a Hollywood club. The 30 Rock actor’s rep did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
