‘Super 8,’ ‘Captain America,’ and ‘Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol’ Trailer Impressions

Sometimes trailers flash by our eyes so fast, it's hard to describe what you see. That's especially the case when you see several never before seen trailers back to back. A /Film reader was at the Russian International Film Market this week and experienced just that as Paramount reportedly showed several never-before-seen trailers, many of which are rumored to be released very soon. They showed J.J. Abrams' Super 8 and Joe Johnston's Captain America: The First Avenger, as well as new ones of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Kung Fu Panda 2 and, most surprisingly, a tease for Brad Bird's still in production Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol. 'happythankyoumoreplease': How We Meet Josh Radnor's Movie Career

TV funny guy Josh Radnor (CBS's "Hot I Met Your Mother") wrote, directed and stars in this indie romantic dramedy that charmed the pants off of moviegoers at last year's Sundance Film Festival, nabbing the festival's Audience Award.

It's not hard to see why.

Set in New York, "happythankyoumoreplease" boats a quirky title that rings off the tip of the tongue; a hip, talented cast (fronted by Malin Akerman, Kate Mara, Zoe Kazan, Pablo Schreiber and Radnor himself); an indie-centric soundtrack; sex (natch);  and a storyline revolving around hot, twentysomethings trying to find love in all the wrong places.

Radnor stars as Sam, a struggling writer who can't seem to find a break. On the way to an important interview, he comes across a young boy who gets separated from his family on the subway. Things grow complicated when Sam decides to bring the boy back to his apartment after»
