Daytime Emmys pre-nominations: The good, the bad
The Daytime Emmy Awards pre-nominations contains some wonderful highs and some devastating lows. The Good The Best Actor category is the only one where all the shows have selected worthy candidates although there are still a few glaring omissions. Michael E. Knight ("All My Children") earned a pre-nom from his cast, when the series had multiple worthy actors from which to pick. "Days of Our Lives” wisely chose Kristian Alfonso (Hope Brady), who is overdue for another nomination. Despite playing the role of Hope for decades she has contended only once for an Emmy, losing her 1985 bid for "Best Ingйnue. Among the many vets chosen by their casts is Robin Strasser who has worked on daytime soaps since the 1960s,when she originated the role of Rachel on “Another World." Marvel Has Shot A Secret ‘Avengers’ Trailer Featuring Which Villain?
Two very cool, symbiotic pieces of news regarding Joss Whedon's 2012 film The Avengers have just been revealed. According to Ain't It Cool News, Marvel has shot some kind of secret teaser trailer for the film that will either either be attached to Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger or both. That's not particularly surprising since Marvel likes to tack connective bits onto their movies. The big deal is the content. The teaser apparently reveals exactly who the main villain in the film will be. Want to who it is right now? Latino Review has that info but we won't spoil it here.
