Jonah Hill to Direct Zombie-Vampire-Alien Hybrid The Kitchen Sink
Jonah Hill may soon be adding "director" to his resume.
Deadline reports that the Superbad actor is in talks to helm The Kitchen Sink for Sony Pictures and producer Matt Tolmach (The Amazing Spider-Man). Written by Oren Uziel, The Kitchen Sink is described in the 2010 Black List of unproduced screenplays in a single line summary.
A human teenager, a vampire, and a zombie must save their town from an alien invasion.
Tolmach acquired the rights for The Kitchen Sink in January, after stepping down as a Columbia Pictures executive to become a producer. At the time, Tolmach told Deadline that he was "surprised" that no one had purchased the script, and described the script in greater detail.
