Trailer for Spanish-Language Comedy Casa de Mi Padre Starring Will Ferrell
Time to brush up on your Spanish, amigos.
Will Ferrell's upcoming movie, May's Everything Must Go, is a (literally) dramatic departure for the former Saturday Night Live actor. Ferrell's next project looks like an even more unusual departure, as it stars the actor as a Mexican rancher who speaks only in Spanish. "No hablo Americano," says Ferrell early on in the new trailer.
Poking fun at Spanish-language telenovelas, Casa de Mi Padre (or, House of My Father to gringos) seems like something that would show up as a parody trailer on Ferrell's Funny or Die website, which is appropriate since former SNL writer and frequent Funny or Die director Matt Piedmont is at the helm.

Mickey Rourke Apologizes For Calling His Film With Megan Fox “Terrible”

If we’re feeling ornery, you wouldn’t believe the nasty things we’ll say about Shia LeBouf. Mitch [Glazer, Passion Play director] is one of my best friends since we were kids. I loved working with him and would do it again tomorrow.” We’re sure once Mitch hears your excuse, he won’t be able to say no! Or he won’t be able to»
