Why Is 20th TV Doing Ricki Lake Talk Show?
Jeez, will the proliferation of unnecessary talk shows never cease? Isn't Ricki Lake so 1990s? (Her last talker debuted in syndication on September 13, 1993 and ended first-run episodes on May 25, 2004.) Isn't she in the witness protection program? So I gotta ask, why????New York -- Twentieth Television announced today a development deal with Ricki Lake; for a possible fall 2012 launch of a new syndicated talk show. The deal will focus on developing an hour-long program, which would mark Ricki’s return to syndicated television. The program will be based in Los Angeles, CA and will present topical conversation reflecting Ricki’s own personal journey and recent life experiences. Red-Band Trailer, Poster, and First Images from The Change-up Starring Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman
The first trailer for The Change-Up has gone online along with the poster and a couple of images. The film is a body-switching comedy like Freaky Friday except instead of kooky hijinks that bring a mother and daughter closer together, it's a raunchy, foul-mouthed set of hijinks that centers on two estranged friends played by Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman. Bateman is the uptight family man while Reynolds' character is a man-child who dreams of making it big as a Hollywood actor even though he lives in Atlanta. I got to visit the set earlier this year and I really liked what I saw, so hopefully the film lives up to my expectations.Hit the jump to check out the red-band trailer, poster, and new images.
