Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel Are The Leads in ‘Total Recall;’ Bill Nighy is Quatto
With an August 2012 release date [1] looming, shooting on Len Wiseman's remake of Total Recall is set to begin next week in Toronto. We know that Colin Farrell will be Douglas Quaid and Bryan Cranston will be one of the villains [2] but what of the two ladies in Quaid's life, so famously portrayed by in the original Sharon Stone and Rachel Ticotin? Previous reports have now confirmed to be true as Wiseman's wife, Kate Beckinsale, will be playing Lori [3], Quaid's wife in his "normal" life and Jessica Biel will be Rachel [4], the girl Quaid meets in his spy life. Also just announced is that Bill Nighy, who played a pretty gruesome character in the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels, has been cast as Quatto, the leader of the resistance. James Bond 23 To Be Released 9th November, 2012
Finally! 007 is officially back with Sony Pictures and MGM telling the whole wide world they've come to a distribution and production agreement. Announcing the news via Twitter, Sony Pictures have said Bond 23 will be in cinemas from 9th November, 2012. There's no further news yet but imagine things are well and truly set in place given the short amount of time.
There's been all sorts of rumours regarding the picture including plenty of casting talk. Names touted include Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem. Sam Mendes has been attached to direct for well over a year too.
