Exclusive Clip: Werner Herzog's Cave of Forgotten Dreams in 3-D

Cave of Forgotten Dreams, Werner Herzog's 3-D exploration of the world's oldest paintings in the Chauvet Cave in southern France, is an enchanting ride. Rather than using 3-D as a device to escape into fantasy, Cave of Forgotten Dreams opens our eyes to a real and fragile history that makes us marvel at our own existence. Herzog invites us "to reflect on our primal desire to communicate and represent the world around us, evolution and our place within it, and ultimately what it means to be human." The vet documentarian was granted unprecedented access to the caves, which are now brought to life for the rest of us. The film whispers rather than shouts, insisting that our imaginations be active participants in the experience. Check »

Casting Robert Pattinson in 6 Literary Classics

Sure, Robert Pattinson has tried on a few non-"Twilight" roles for size, but none so far have been as big as his new gig in "Water for Elephants," based on Sara Gruen's beloved bestseller.

He plays Jacob (which incidentally proves a nice wink-wink for Twi-Hards), a Depression-era veterinary student who gets swept up in the colorful world of big-top circus tours and – we'll say it – swept off his feet by a star performer (Reese Witherspoon).

It's a role that fits R.Pattz comfortably – and one that inspired us to imagine what other literary adaptations the heartthrob could pull off.
