Charlie Sheen Warns La He’ll Be At Tonight’s Surprise Prince Concert
We’re so glad Twitter exists right now. If it wasn’t for the social media platform, fans at tonight’s Prince concert in La would have to debate whether that weird guy in the hat trying to climb on stage was Charlie Sheen or not. “#winning Heading to House of Blues La tonight to see a surprise show by Prince! should be Epic..!!,” Sheen tweeted this afternoon. “Was this a secret?! too late!!” Prince will actually be playing three shows in different parts of the House Of Blues tonight, the Muisc Hall at 8, the Jazz Cafe at 11, and a charity gig at the private Foundation room at 1 Am, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Charlie hits all three…it’s not like he has to go to work tomorrow.

Sundance Selects Takes Cannes Critics' Week Opener, The "Live Affirming" Declaration of War
Declarations of War (La guerre est dйclarйe), which opened Cannes Critics' Week, has gone to Sundance Selects for U.S. distribution. Valйrie Donzelli wrote, directed and stars in the film alongside Jйrйmie Elkaпm (who also co-wrote). Based on their own true love story, the movie follows Romeo and Juliette, a couple battling against their child's illness. Sundance Selects has now acquired five films out of the Cannes selection, including Maiwenn's jury-prize winning policier Poliss, Julia Leigh's provocative Sleeping Beauty, the Dardenne brothers' Grand Prix-sharing The Kid with a Bike and Bertrand Bonello's competition entry House of Tolerance; IFC Midnight picked up Aussie serial killer thriller Snowtown.
