Exclusive: Edgar Wright Has Been Asked to Direct an Episode of The Walking Dead Season 2
Yesterday at SXSW, Scott Wampler (our Austin contributing writer) got to sit down with director Joe Cornish, Edgar Wright and Nick Frost to talk about Cornish's first feature film, Attack The Block (which played huge during its midnight premiere last night). While we'll have the whole interview online later today, one of the gems that came out of their conversation is that Frank Darabont has asked Wright to direct an episode of The Walking Dead season two! While Wright made it sound like he probably won't do it, it's still awesome to think that one of my favorite directors might helm an episode of the hugely popular AMC show.
