Jodie Foster Surprised Kristen Stewart Chose to Be an Actress
Kristen Stewart has a lot going for her these days. She's young. She's hot. She made $28.5 million last year.
Throw in an (almost) equally successful boyfriend and a starring role in one of the most successful movie franchises of all time and you're really starting to get somewhere.
But not everyone thought this would be Stewart's future.
Academy Award-winner Jodie Foster, who starred with a then-12-year-old Stewart in David Fincher's 2002 thriller "Panic Room," is admittedly surprised that the "Twilight" beauty wanted to get into acting at all.
Foster flatly tells The Hollywood Reporter, "I just love Kristen Stewart, but I didn't think she'd choose to be an actress."
When they were shooting "Panic Room," Foster had a heart-to-heart to Stewart's mom. "I said to her mom, 'She doesn't want that, right?' And she's like, 'Well, yes, she kind of does.'"
