'Attack the Block' Wins SXSW Audience Award
In what may possibly be our last SXSW 2011 update, the festival has just announced that street kids vs. alien invaders film Attack the Block is the winner of this year's Audience Award in the Midnight/Sx Fantastic category.Congratulation to director Joe Cornish, his cast and crew for taking the prize. Here's hoping Hollywood can look past some rather thick British accents and get Attack in to Us theaters as quickly possible so the rest of us can see it too.»
