Colin Firth Closer To Joining 'Stoker,' But It's Not A Vampire Movie According To Mia Wasikowska
Though its plot remains almost entirely shrouded in secrecy, "Stoker" is nevertheless one of our most anticipated projects by quite a lot. It comes from "Oldboy" director Park Chan-wook in his English-language feature film debut, written by "Prison Break" actor Wentworth Miller and starring "Alice in Wonderland" rising star Mia Wasikowska and Oscar winner Nicole Kidman. Even without knowing the plot, how can you argue with that lineup of talent?
It gets even better: Colin Firth, fresh off of his Oscar victory for "The King's Speech," is reportedly joining the cast as well. Rumors swirled regarding his involvement earlier this month, and now THR reports that Firth is finalizing his deal.
But there were other rumors about "Stoker" that are simply untrue, like the fact that it centers on vampires. Park's film company Moho Film denied reports that "Stoker" is a vampire film to THR, and when we recently caught up with "Stoker" lead Wasikowska,»
