Antje Traue Getting Super-Villainous For 'Man of Steel'
It looks like Superman has more than just General Zod to contend with.
Super-villainy is about to get a woman's touch as German actress Antje Traue is in talks to join the cast of "Man of Steel," the Zack Snyder-directed Superman reboot, according to Deadline.
Traue would be playing the role of Faora, a super-villainess that we can only assume is a re-imagining of Ursa, the evil Kryptonian hottie played by Sarah Douglas in "Superman II." She'd be standing (flying?) alongside Michael Shannon as General Zod as they make Superman's job more difficult as he fights for truth, justice and the American way.
Antje Traue was last seen running from aliens (Or Are They?) with Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster in the sci-fi horror film, "Pandorum" (pictured). She'll be seen this summer in Renny Harlin's "5 Days of August," which stars Val Kilmer, Andy Garcia and a former Superman,»
