Cameron Diaz Will Know 'What to Expect When You're Expecting'
Cameron Diaz is having a baby.
Well, not really -- she'll just be pretending to be having one, as the "Knight and Day" star has signed on to appear in "What to Expect When You're Expecting," according to Deadline.
"What to Expect When You're Expecting" is based on the bestselling pregnancy book by Heidi Murkoff, which has sold over 16 million copies. The script by Heather Hach and Shauna Cross takes a "Love Actually" kind of approach, where five couples (whose lives will probably all intersect by the film's end) experience the joys and terrors of impending parenthood.
So, yeah, expect a lot more casting announcements with this one in the coming weeks (though probably not to "New Year's Day" or "Hunger Games" extremes).
Cameron Diaz just started shooting "Gambit," the caper comedy co-starring Colin Firth and written by the Coen Brothers. She'll shoot "What to Expect When You're Expecting" later this summer.»
