Bill Murray Elected To Play Fdr in 'Hyde Park on the Hudson'
It's taken a few years for audiences to shake off their desire to see Bill Murray as a comedian, but it's happened, and it's no longer a surprise to see the multi-talented performer eschewing comedy for serious drama.
His latest role may be his most challenging yet, as Murray has decided to go historical, and will be playing President Franklin D. Roosevelt in "Hyde Park on the Hudson."
"Hyde Park" is a live action adaptation of a 2009 British radio play. It centers on Roosevelt and his affair with his distant cousin Margaret Stuckley (these were different times, after all) and takes place during one June weekend during 1939, when the King and Queen of England (and yes, that would be King George VI of "The King's Speech") visited Roosevelt at his cottage in upstate New York. It was the very first visit the English monarchy made to America, hence the play's very posh title.»

Seizing the high seas back for the Brits, Hugh Grant will provide the voice of Pirate Captain in Aardman's first 3D stop-motion movie, The Pirates!
