Vin Diesel: Lord of Dance

Funny how fleeting one's coolness can be.

Vin Diesel is the current, undisputed personification of masculinity with his intimidating glares and carved marble physique. Yet long ago, in a decade now referred to as "the '80s," a young, lanky Diesel, er, Mark Sinclair Vincent, zippered up matching tracksuits with his crew, or "dance posse," coiffed his funky-fresh afro and boogied with beat-box abandon in a special breakdancing instructional video.

Lucky for us, this video has finally been unearthed -- possibly from the innards of a 1985 time capsule -- and displayed for all to study on Moviefone (via 5Min).

May these disturbing images of Diesel intimately "caterpillaring" (an ancient dance move) through the legs of his "homeboy" (a term for a friendly associate)  serve as a warning to young people everywhere that, no matter how cool you think you are now, your children will eventually regard you as the cheesiest goofball on the planet.»
