I'm going to lead off with some The Hobbit casting news for you, as announced by Peter Jackson on his facebook page. New Zealand actor Dean O'Gorman will play Fili and join the set this week. The Elven King Thranduil will be played by Lee Pace (The Fall), who Jackson says "came into mind almost immediately" for the part. I have no idea what any of this means, so I'll leave it at that and let you discuss amongst yourselves.
Perhaps a good sign for how Bridesmaids is tracking, THR reports another comedy about bridesmaids is underway from producers Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. This one is an indie tentatively titled Bachelorette. Kirsten Dunst, Adam Scott, Lizzy Caplan and Casey Wilson ("Happy Endings") are all attached for writer/director Leslye Headland, a staff writer on the FX show "Terriers." Jesse James: Sex Is “100% Better” With Kat Von D
Jesse James has crawled out of his hole to promote his upcoming autobiography, American Outlaw, and it looks like he’s brought some dirt with him. While he mostly tells interviewers about how self-destructive his prodigious philandering was and how ex-wife Sandra Bullock won’t let him see her adopted son Louis and that she doesn’t talk to his daughter Sunny super-often (the witch!), Howard Stern predictably managed to get the answers your average journalist wouldn’t even seek. According to E!, James said sex with fiancee Kat Von D is “100 percent better” than it was with Sandra, and that he will never cheat on her.
It’s not clear why he’d feel the need to dump on Sandra like that—he’s got the tattooed fetish girl, she’s got the kid, everyone can just go about their lives happily now—but don’t expect him to feel bad.»
