With Zach Galifianakis Out, Jeff Bridges Could Join Ryan Reynolds in R.I.P.D.
Jeff Bridges could breathe new life into R.I.P.D..
Zach Galifianakis decided to withdraw from the comic book adaptation earlier this month, just two months after joining. Based on the Darkhorse comic book by writer Peter Lenkov and artist Lucas Marangon, R.I.P.D. would follow Ryan Reynolds as a recently murdered man who agrees to work for the Rest in Peace Department (or, R.I.P.D.) for 100 years in exchange for the chance to find his killer. Bridges is in negotiations to play Reynolds' partner, an agent who looks like Rooster Cogburn (Bridges' Oscar-nominated character from True Grit but without an eye patch) and has worked for R.I.P.D. since the 1800s. The only problem may be scheduling.

Charlie Sheen Furious Over Chuck Lorre’s New Men Plans: “A-Hole P—y Loser”
Disappointed fans who yell for Charlie Sheen to “say something weird!” at his hit-or-miss live shows should just bring up Chuck Lorre. The actor has fired one violent torpedo at the producer for reportedly planning to bring back Two And A Half Men without Sheen (“You sad silly fool. A-hole p—y loser. Put on the gloves you low rent, nut-less sociopath; I’ll beat your chicken s— soul in a court room into a state of gratitude.”). Here’s a larger slice of the screed:
Wow, I’m sure your children are So Proud of you. You can teach’em how to be a stupid b—h. A narcissist. A coward. A loser. A spineless rat. I’m out here with my fans every night. The message is crystal clear; No Charlie Sheen. No Show.
And that’s exactly what it will be for you and your desperate vanity cards,»
