Quentin Tarantino Discusses Django Unchained; Will Christoph Waltz Star?
In March, writer-director Quentin Tarantino had reportedly finished the script for his next project, Django Unchained, a "Southern" movie that blends elements of the Western genre into a story about an avenging slave that we assume is named Django. Tarantino confirmed to Vulture that he finished the script "on Tuesday" and delivered it to The Weinstein Company (apparently, Tarantino overcame the "obnoxious pterodactyl-like screams" of the macaws coming from the house of next-door neighbor Alan Ball that caused him to sue). Tarantino revealed that after turning in the script, he celebrated with friends.
When I send out the script, I always have a little party at my house. I send it out to Harvey Weinstein and other people, and then my friends just show up all day long and just get their copy of it and drink Champagne and we celebrate.

The criminal theme continues in Fire, which finds a fireman (no idea which of the three will play that role, but we guess Duhamel) who has to enter the witness protection programme when he’s able to testify against a violent criminal.Trouble is, the wrongdoer tracks him down and threatens both the heroic fire-stopper and the love of his life. So our hero takes matters into his worn hands and tries to save his lady.»
