Odds are you know by now that Morgan Spurlock has a documentary coming out this Friday-- the director previously behind Super Size Me has been ubiquitous in the last few weeks, following through on his promise to make Pom Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold what he calls "the Iron Man of documentaries." 'Scream 4': Wes Craven Speculates On The Franchise's Future And More Prescott Family Drama
With all the hype and excitement surrounding "Scream 4," I'm actually surprised it didn't perform better at the box office last weekend. Wes Craven directing! Kevin Williamson writing! All of the original characters (those who survived) back in action! I'm not even a fan of the "Scream" franchise and I enjoyed it.
Anyway, before the numbers came in last weekend, the word on the street was that there were two more "Scream" movies on the way. Screenwriter Williamson had planned the fourth film as a kickoff to a new trilogy, of sorts. When I caught up with the cast and Craven at the film's press day recently, I asked them to give us a tease of what they had planned for two more films. Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette didn't want to speculate at the time, citing the notion that if they commented it would spoil the fact that their characters survived.»
