Hollywood lost a legend today when two-time Academy Award winner Elizabeth Taylor finally succumbed to a long illness. Though the star of films like Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof passed away just hours ago, notable personalities have already taken to Twitter to post messages of remembrance and celebration. We’ll be adding to this post as the day goes on and more celebs tweet about the violet-eyed star — who, by the way, had a Twitter account of her own: @DameElizabeth. Her last tweet was sent out February 9, right before she was hospitalized for congestive heart failure.»
