Disney picking up Ice Cube's car culture film Chrome and Paint
Who thought in about 20 years, an entertainment story would have “Ice Cube” and “Disney” in the same sentence! DAPSMagic.com is reporting that Disney is picking up the rapper’s film based around the gritty car culture, “Chrome and Paint.” As the article points out, the film is named after a song on Ice Cube’s 2006 album “Laugh Now”; needless to say, the song has less-than-Disney lyrics. The film, which was originally set to be an R-rated film, will take place in South Central L.A. involving young people who end up dying in drive-bys. James Franco's Brother Leaps Into 21 Jump Street Movie Cast
Dave Franco is stealing some of the spotlight from his older brother James by being cast as a villain in the upcoming ‘21 Jump Street’ movie adaptation, deadline.com is reporting. Franco is set to play Eric, the most popular kid at his high school, who’s also a drug dealer and the target of a police investigation.
